Mingei International Museum Store Entrance

The Mingei Collectors Gallery celebrates the beauty of everyday objects and the artisans who create them. Rooted in the Mingei movement, the gallery offers handmade works that unite tradition, design, and function. Their carefully curated collection—ranging from ceramics and textiles to woodwork and jewelry—reflects the skill, intention, and story of each maker.

In designing the entrance, my goal was to immediately convey this sense of history and meaning, inviting visitors to step into the tradition behind the work and begin a visual journey before they even cross the threshold.
