Sara Darouian is a Los Angeles–based artist and graphic designer. Sara helps her clients articulate their visual story in a way that equips them to authentically connect with their audience.

Under the moniker Haleh Pashmak, she paints both to see what she loves and to explore the things she wants to understand. Her compositions, filled with carefully crafted figures and forms, aim to evoke stories that could live in hieroglyphs or songs. These draw inspiration from nature, personal experience, and Haleh’s Persian lineage, where traces of folk art and ornament shape her visual language. Her paintings mix playfulness with a sense of something old and symbolic. What she enjoys most is seeing the meaning people find in these, themselves. Along with some purely decorative pieces, Haleh’s latest works play curiously and compassionately with human connection, dreams, and behavior that either hinders or promotes authenticity and love between people.
